Is Pre-Surgical Rehab for Me?

There are a lot of surgical procedures with different goals and rationales.  With this in mind not all surgeries require Pre-Surgical Rehab and are dependent on the needs of the patient, the health of the patient and the goals of the patient.

Conditions like severe hip osteoarthritis may not benefit from Pre-Surgical Rehab to prepare for surgery because exercise may exacerbate and aggravate symptoms.  In this case physiotherapy may help with symptoms modulation until surgery.
